A non-executive director at several organizations (both non-profit and commercial), Surinder typically also holds roles in Governance, audit and risk committees, as well as part of Advisory boards at fintech and hedge funds.

He has pioneered growth of multiple new businesses focused on credit ratings, independent equity research, risk management and governance services, and is a trusted advisor to senior corporate executives and policy makers across the region.

Surinder has significant M&A experience across ASEAN, including an in-depth knowledge of corporate finance, Islamic finance, equity and debt capital markets. He also has a deep knowledge of Vietnam including its rapidly growing corporate bond market and infrastructure sector.
